Patrick Caldwell began his career in high school working in graphic design and printing. One of his customers asked if Patrick could build a website for the customer's company. Patrick learned HTML 2.0 and Perl and started developing basic websites with simple designs and even simpler interactivity.

Patrick has always been excited about the technology industry and he enjoys keeping up with the latest innovations. This journey led him from a small company doing local design and print work to developing software for the print shop at Auburn University. From there, he went to Duke University and wrote software for a psychopharmacology research laboratory. After leaving Duke, Patrick developed software for several other companies before joining his first company dedicated to software development and consulting.

Patrick soon became the company's Vice President for Research and Development and remained so until he left the company to start Autopilot Consulting. Patrick has a bachelors in psychology from Auburn University and an MBA from Elon University. Outside of work, he enjoys volunteering, the great outdoors, and spending time with his family. Patrick is also an avid aviatior.
